Join Our Lifesaving Community Classes: CPR for Healthcare Providers and Stop the Bleed

We’re excited to announce the launch of our monthly community classes on CPR (CPR for Healthcare Provider) and Stop the Bleed. These classes are designed not just to educate, but also to empower our community members with vital skills that can save lives. All classes are taught by experienced and passionate instructors who are committed to providing comprehensive and practical knowledge. These sessions are not just about learning; they’re about gaining confidence to act in emergency situations.

September 2024

Thursday September 12 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Narcan Training - Mayors Wellness Campaign [In-person]


Join Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad and Princeton Health Department on Wednesday, September 11th at 5 PM to learn how and when to administer Narcan (Naloxone) in an emergency. Registration is free. Participants will receive Narcan spray to take home with them, along with a free harm reduction kit.

October 2024

Wednesday October 9 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm Stop The Bleed Training [In-person]


Join our Stop the Bleed class to learn critical bleeding control techniques that can save lives in emergency situations. This practical course covers everything from basic wound care to advanced bleeding control methods, empowering you to act swiftly and effectively in a crisis. Your registration includes a personal Stop the Bleed kits with all of the items you’ll learn to use in the class. After taking this class you can apply to be an official stop the bleed instructor.

Saturday October 26 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Community CPR Class [In-person]


CPR for Healthcare Providers

Our CPR for Healthcare Providers class is an intensive, hands-on training session aimed at those in the healthcare field as well as members of the public who wish to have a higher level of training. This course covers a range of crucial topics, including:

* Adult, Child, and Infant CPR: Learn the techniques for performing CPR on individuals of different age groups. * Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Gain proficiency in using an AED, an essential tool in cardiac emergencies. * Choking Relief: Understand how to effectively aid someone who is choking. * Basic Life Support (BLS) Principles: Explore the fundamentals of BLS and how to apply them in a variety of scenarios.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certification, demonstrating their capability to perform CPR in critical situations.

Registration Information

Classes will be held monthly at our PFARS facility. We encourage all community members, especially those in healthcare or related fields, to participate and enhance their life-saving skills.
