The Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad has received a $30,000 grant from the Investors Foundation to deliver emergency medical and rescue training for its 110 volunteer and career members.
Serving the community since 1939, the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad provides more than 30,000 Princeton residents, visitors, and students with professional, courteous, and skilled emergency medical care and rescue services.
Created in 2005 by Investors Bank, the Investors Foundation works to improve the lives of its customers and neighbors by supporting community groups.
“This grant will help to ensure our community has plenty of trained personnel ready to respond to any type of emergency,” said Mark Freda, president of the squad. “I cannot thank the Investors Foundation enough for becoming supporters.”
Cynthia Ricker, Investors Bank assistant vice president and branch manager at Lawrenceville praised the foundation’s support for the squad. “It’s an honor to support a program that brings necessary training to the EMTs who save lives each and every day,” said Ricker.
Volunteer EMTs respond to thousands of calls annually. Continual training ensures the Squad can deliver top-notch patient care and stay prepared for unforeseen disasters.
